Happy 7-11!

OK really not an official Holiday but we do like to celebrate the day with our favorite flavor Slurpee from 7-Eleven!

I can't believe Summer is about half way over. Where does the time go? We have been lucky enough to do a few fun things but there are still plenty of things on "our list" to do this summer. We still need to visit Cowabunga Bay, (Has anyone done Cowabunga yet?) Seven Peaks, get a few more movies in, a couple more scout camps, Girls Camp, and a couple of hikes.

Shelbs and Big E were able to go to EFY this summer, both loved it. Shelbs just got home today and I wonder if she slept at all down at BYU because she is one tired girl today. They both also did Youth Conference a few weeks ago up at the UofU and really loved it - The Stake did a great job with planning it; they had John Bytheway, Matt Townsend, and Ms. Utah (GI Jill) as speakers and then they did "The Amazing Race" all over downtown. How fun.

Big E and Ry-Guy both went to Scout Camps this year. Big E went to Jackson Hole and had a great time. Ry went to Bear Lake and poor kid had to repeat his swimming test 7 times to pass it!

Daws and Nickster have been taking swimming lessons - (Ry probably should have been taking them too!)

This year we took lessons at the Shaws and it has been great.

We were able to go up to Idaho on the 4th of July and Celebrate with family- we had a great time! (Thanks Jen and Jeff for the fun times)

Waterslide at the park:

Big E was trying to "Surf" down the waterslide

The Fish pond with REAL Fish!! - I thought a fish pond was where you threw a "fishing rod" over some kind of curtain and then you got a prize on the end of your "line" - Not so at this Fish pond - you jump in and grab a REAL LIVE FISH! - my kids watched but no one was up to jumping in and catching one (Thank goodness!!!)

We "tubed" the Bear River - Really fun

Had a pinata!

And of course fireworks
Hope everyone had a Happy 4th!
